I’m an enthusiastic photographer and just about everywhere I go I’ve a camera bag loaded w/lenses and stuff. And more often then not I’ve a camera with lens which is attached to a strap that hangs from my neck. As you’re probably aware, after a while, the weight becomes more than uncomfortable. Not to mention the camera hitting me, or bumping something or someone as I walk – and having to hold it whenever I stoop for something for fear of losing it, dunking it or banging it. Hey, I’m talking a lot of money and inconvenience here. I’ll start cradling the camera to give my neck some relief and the camera some protection, but, then the backpack becomes an annoyance. Not a nice way of spending the day doing what I love, photographing. I looked about for an answer to my problem and after perusing the photo forums came upon the “Cotton Carrier”. Frankly, at first I thought it a little silly, however, I kept it in mind and continued, in vain, looking for something else that might provide an answer to the problem. I found myself back to “cotton Carrier” – I viewed the video and decided to give it a try. Neck strain is a thing of the past as this is an excellent device. It’s well made, it works as it’s advertised, holding camera and lens securely and leaving you unencumbered no matter your stance. And it comes with a holster for a second camera that can be used attached to the vest or on a belt or whatever appropriate contrivance you might have. Wearing the “Cotton Carrier” with camera attached leaves the hands free. It also has your camera held securely against your chest and available for use anytime as it’s very easy to disengage from the holder. But more importantly, for me, it relieves neck strain. That alone is deserving of 5 stars.
